AYSAD FOOTWEAR INDUSTRY SUPPLIERS ASSOCIATION

The footwear industry suppliers sector includes all suplliers and shoe designers, importers exporters, and foreign company representatives in the same field.

Sector started to become organized under motives and operations of Footwear Industry Suppliers Association (AYSAD) in 1988. The members of AYSAD reached 205. The aim of the association is to recommend and apply the programs that would ensure the active members to adapt quickly to the developments in the sector as well as to establish every kind of social, cultural and professional relations among members, to solve their every kind of professional problems, to guide to the committes coming from abroad, to indroduce the products of the members of the association, to organize domestic or international fairs and exhibitions, to advise in imports, exports and and investments, to represent them for official and private organizations, to follow up the developing technology and to announce the developments to the members, and to get in touch with domestic and foreign associations in the same field for information exchange.

AYSAD categorized the footwear industry suppliers sector production in 24 main and 17 sub-categories totaling 41 separate categories as; readymade soles, stout leather, surface and linings, shole laces and ropes, accessories, inner sole, adhesives, finishing materials, labels, packaging materials, strong camber, ails, screws, heels, woven and unwoven knives, cutters, filling materials, metal soles and cambers for secured shoes, shoe-trees, shoe, leather/artificial leather, representatives, modelists, and computer.
